Codal partnered with Built by Girls (bbg) to overhaul their mentorship portal, WAVE. The platform suffered from a poor user experience and complex navigation, which hindered its utility as a one-stop shop for onboarding, profile building, and scheduling mentorship sessions in STEM.

Codal's solution began with an intensive discovery phase, followed by a six-month initial release that redesigned user flows and introduced a sophisticated matching algorithm. For a subsequent release, they conducted deeper user research to further streamline scheduling. The revamped WAVE platform has successfully built relationships between over 4,950 women and facilitated over 11,000 hours of mentorship.
