Case Study: TED creates a dynamic company wiki with Coda

A Coda Case Study

How TED created the ultimate company wiki in Coda

TED, the nonprofit media organization behind the TED Talks brand, needed an internal knowledge hub that anyone could update. Its existing company wiki had become hard to maintain because engineering resources were focused elsewhere, so information went stale, usage declined, and employees struggled to find answers. TED turned to Coda to create a better intranet and company wiki experience.

With Coda, TED built InsideTED, a customizable internal portal that non-developers could maintain using no-code building blocks, searchable pages, collapsible sections, filters, and integrations with tools like Slack and the company calendar. The result was a wiki that feels like TED, can be updated instantly instead of taking a month, and delivered overwhelmingly positive feedback while helping TED blow past its adoption goals.
