Bitski chose Cockroach Labs’ CockroachDB to support its login flow, user data, application data, analytics, and blockchain transactions.

With Cockroach Labs and CockroachDB, Bitski moved to a single distributed database across multiple data centers, regions, and clouds, gaining automatic failover, Kubernetes compatibility, and hybrid-cloud flexibility for its HSM-based security model. The results included read latency dropping from 70 milliseconds to 0.5 milliseconds, no maintenance windows, and an estimated one FTE saved, while making it easier to add new regions and improve security, compliance, and performance.
