all3media is a fast‑growing independent TV production group based in London with over 1,000 staff and numerous recent acquisitions. Its legacy Novell GroupWise system no longer met the needs of a geographically dispersed, mobile workforce and the company needed a scalable, secure messaging solution with strong anti‑spam protection—without the cost and overhead of running an in‑house Exchange environment.

Cobweb deployed a managed Microsoft Hosted Exchange service (with MessageLabs anti‑spam) within three months, providing global email, calendars and mobile access on a pay‑per‑user basis. The rollout scaled from ~300 to over 450 users, enabled production teams to work on location (saving international call costs), allowed rapid provisioning for new or temporary teams, and freed internal IT to focus on strategic projects.
