TRICUE, a Credit Union Service Organization providing data processing and IT solutions to credit unions in the Rocky Mountain states, faced challenges with an inefficient, manual backup process. Their existing system required too much staff effort, led to long backup windows, and could not reliably meet data recovery objectives. TRICUE enlisted Cobalt Iron to implement a smarter backup and recovery management service that would secure customer data and maximize their technology investments.

Cobalt Iron deployed its Private Cloud solution with two Accelerators, eliminating tape and creating two active, replicating sites for seamless disaster recovery. This solution automated processes, drastically accelerated backup times, and reduced stored data by 67% through deduplication. As a result, TRICUE improved its overall backup efficiency by 96% and can now securely maintain seven years of data on site.
