Roy Lowe & Sons adopt Fast React’s Evolve planning solution

Roy Lowe & Sons, a family-owned sock manufacturer based in Sutton-in-Ashfield and longtime supplier to major UK retailers, decided to bring production back to the UK to capitalise on the “Made in Britain” trend and meet growing demand for faster response. After outsourcing since 2006, the company aims to launch a new technical sports range (SockMine) and cut lead times to under four weeks, creating a need for tighter production visibility and control.

To achieve this they added Fast React’s Evolve planning solution alongside their existing Vision e‑PLM, providing machine-level planning boards, pre-production critical path, raw material stock control, MRP and management reporting with a seamless interface to Vision. The combined system streamlines processes, delivers full capacity and material visibility, and produces dynamically linked, efficient plans — supporting the return of UK manufacturing and the company’s goal of faster, more controlled production.
