Makalot Industrial Co. Ltd, founded in 1990, is a leading Taiwan apparel manufacturer with over 26,000 employees and factories in the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and China, producing about 3,500 styles a year for major retailers such as Wal‑Mart, Gap and Target. As the business grew and spread geographically, fast and accurate order confirmation and capacity planning became increasingly complex—making poor planning more costly to sales and margins.

To address this, Makalot partnered with Fast React to implement the Evolve planning solution, integrating ERP and factory barcode data to give managers a single, easy‑to‑read view and customised reports. A pilot launched in December covering the Taiwan head office and three North Vietnam factories is already live, with a planned group‑wide roll‑out; results include faster decision‑making, reduced time on spreadsheets and calls, improved capacity utilisation and expected productivity gains (for example, a 1% reduction in repairs/rework can yield about a 3% productivity increase) and a clear path to ROI.
