PT. Jusindo Sumberprakarsa (JSP 962) is a Bandung-based children’s garment manufacturer supplying both export (70%) and domestic markets with licensed and own-brand lines, employing about 1,500 people and a large subcontractor network with capacity around 3.9 million pieces. Their complex multi-pack, multi-trim childrenswear production, in-house design process and rapid growth plans (targeting +80% in 2012) created constant “firefighting” to coordinate manpower, materials, trims and approvals — a situation manual systems could not handle.
