Crystal Elegance Gain Improved Control Resulting in Fewer ‘surprises’ with FastReact Planning

Elegance Industrial Co Ltd, part of the Crystal Group, is a large cut-and-sew knits manufacturer operating in China, Vietnam and Bangladesh with about 12,000 employees and more than 60 million garments produced annually. Although they already used SAP and RFID, planners relied on manual Excel files for capacity and Critical Path Management, making consolidation slow, error-prone and difficult to manage across multiple factories.

FastReact was implemented for high-level order allocation, line-level planning boards, collaborative data exchange and full integration with SAP and RFID to eliminate manual data entry. The result was a single, accurate planning system that reduced planner workload, improved visibility of load versus capacity, cut “surprises” around ex-factory dates and kept idle capacity losses under 3% and delivery claims below 0.3%, while new-site rollouts now take about two weeks.
