Belden introduces Fast React’s Align solution to UK plant

Belden’s Littleborough UK plant, part of global cable and connectivity leader Belden Inc., needed to improve on-time delivery and maintain its competitive edge across aerospace, transit, industrial and oil & gas markets. Existing planning processes lacked the visibility and flexibility required to plan quickly and accurately, causing delivery and service shortfalls.

Belden implemented a tailored Fast React Align solution — covering pre-production and material planning, capacity scheduling and a web-based KPI dashboard — to speed planning and re-planning. The result was faster, more accurate production schedules that increased on-time delivery performance, reduced WIP and raw material stocks, improved financial KPIs and supported LEAN goals, with an initial UK rollout planned for wider European deployment.
