Orca Security reaches FedRAMP Ready 50% faster with Coalfire

Orca Security, a provider of an agentless cloud security platform, aimed to expand into government cloud environments by achieving FedRAMP Ready status. The challenge was navigating the complex FedRAMP compliance process to build a secure, audit-ready environment and gain a crucial first-to-market advantage. To meet this challenge, Orca engaged vendor Coalfire for its FedRAMP advisory and Accelerated Cloud Engineering (ACE) services.

Coalfire advised on strategy and then used its ACE services to deploy a FedRAMP-compliant environment on AWS. This solution enabled Orca to achieve FedRAMP Ready status in less than 8 months, which is more than 50% faster than the average 18-month timeline and at nearly 80% less than historic costs. As a result, Orca was listed on the FedRAMP Marketplace, leading to significant growth in its sales pipeline and putting the company well on its way to reaching its revenue targets.
