Its legacy stack relied on Airflow, Python, Postgres, and Power BI, but pipelines were slow, hard to repair, and lacked version control and data modeling, making it difficult to unify policy, customer, and asset data or track the sales-to-issuance process. With Coalesce, Group 1001 built a unified data model and fully automated data stack on Snowflake, replacing manual processes and accelerating development. The team migrated nearly 4 TB of data, over 160 reports, 200 DAGs, and 66 databases in less than a year with just five people, while improving data engineering productivity by 10x and cutting idea-to-insight time from three months to just two days. Coalesce’s automation, templates, and lineage tracking helped the team troubleshoot, refactor, and redeploy much faster.
