Case Study: UCONN streamlines athlete data management and performance insights with CoachMePlus

A CoachMePlus Case Study

Preview of the UCONN Case Study

UCONN - Customer Case Study

UCONN, led by Chris West, Director of Sport Science, needed a better way to manage athlete information across a large athletics department. With 400+ student-athletes on 22 teams, they were dealing with multiple measures and multiple software systems, making it difficult to collect, compare, and visualize data in one place. CoachMePlus was chosen to help centralize that information and simplify data management.

CoachMePlus implemented a single platform that integrates testing, training reports, GPS, heart rate, questionnaires, and other sports tech data into one common database. UCONN can now visualize trends over time, use data to better judge training load and readiness, and make more informed decisions about whether athletes are doing too much or too little. The system also improved athlete engagement through immediate feedback, mobile access, and competition, while CoachMePlus’s hands-on support helped the staff adopt and use the platform effectively.
