Case Study: Niagara University reduces injuries and improves athlete performance with CoachMePlus

A CoachMePlus Case Study

Preview of the Niagara University Case Study

Niagara University - Customer Case Study

Niagara University, a small Division I school with a limited athletic budget and staff, needed a better way to track athlete health, manage training loads, and reduce injuries across multiple sports. Head strength and conditioning coach Matthew Wietlispach looked for a system that could help coaches monitor performance and fatigue without adding more administrative work.

CoachMePlus provided Niagara University with a platform to collect questionnaires, weigh-ins, grip strength, jump tests, hydration checks, and lifting data through an app and iPads, making it easy for athletes and coaches to access information in real time. With CoachMePlus, the staff improved buy-in, helped athletes self-manage recovery and habits, reduced complaints about fatigue, and gained clear progress tracking, including measurable strength gains such as a freshman increasing her bench press from 45 to 85 pounds.
