Burger King - Customer Case Study

Burger King, the global quick-service restaurant chain with more than 14,000 restaurants and over 11 million daily guests, needed a more robust supply chain quality and compliance system to replace its legacy solution. In early 2014 Burger King engaged CMX to develop the Supplier Performance Enterprise Quality System (SPEQ) built on CMX’s SMX platform to better manage global supplier, product and risk workflows.

CMX implemented SPEQ/SMX with master data and document management, supplier onboarding, specification and nutrition management, incident and audit handling, lab integrations and automated scorecards. The system consolidated disparate processes into a single source of truth, processes nightly audit feeds, runs supplier/distributor/regional scorecards automatically each month, and enabled Burger King to scale its global supply chain while maintaining tighter control and faster oversight of quality and compliance.
