Case Study: ServcoCanada streamlines field productivity and payroll processing with CMiC

A CMiC Case Study

Preview of the ServcoCanada Case Study

ServcoCanada - Driving Excellence in Industrial Construction with Lean Execution and Multi-Trade Expertise

ServcoCanada, a Canadian industrial construction firm with more than 1,000 employees, faced growing operational inefficiencies as its business expanded across multiple regions and trades. Its disconnected systems relied heavily on third-party integrations for project execution, time capture, reporting, and payroll, which slowed workflows, limited real-time field access, and made complex union payroll processing increasingly labor-intensive. CMiC’s integrated ERP was selected to replace this fragmented environment.

CMiC implemented a unified SaaS ERP platform across financials, project management, payroll, and mobile/site management to centralize data and streamline operations. The result was faster access to live information for field and office teams and major efficiency gains in payroll, reducing staffing needs from seven people to one and a half for union dues and multiple payroll runs. CMiC also improved collaboration and transparency for RFIs, change orders, and billing across ServcoCanada’s distributed operations.
