uSell, a large online recommerce company that buys and resells used technology, wanted deeper marketing and sales insights—specifically to identify return customers and to consolidate all marketing channel data into a single warehouse for multi-channel attribution. The challenge was the size and variety of the data: billions of web‑traffic records across channels (TV, remarketing, affiliates, Google, etc.) over a three‑month period, which made accurate attribution and analysis difficult.
uSell partnered with YPoint Analytics and implemented CloverETL to ingest, clean, and centralize marketing and web data into a scalable warehouse. The solution processed massive, diverse datasets with a tool that was simple to learn and required few resources, enabling uSell’s team to focus on analysis rather than data plumbing. As a result, they gained clear multi‑channel attribution, faster marketing insights, and an analytics architecture that can grow with the business.
