The customer, Djäkne, had an old platform running on Microsoft Azure and needed to migrate its file CDN to a new platform built on AWS. Their challenge was to move specific image files from Azure Blob Storage to Amazon S3 in a fast, secure, and smooth manner. To accomplish this, they used the delta migration solution from the vendor, Cloudsfer.

Cloudsfer provided a solution that utilized expert settings, such as filtering by date, to migrate all files created since a desired date. The implementation included performing seven delta transfers to move only the files that had changed since the last run. The project was completed over six days, successfully migrating 2,722,888 items totaling 115.79 GB. The CTO noted the process was very quick and easy, saving them the effort of building a similar tool themselves.
