Informa’s Business Intelligence division, which publishes over 100 digital subscription products across six industry verticals, set out in 2015 to accelerate growth by simplifying and reorganizing around priority markets. That effort was hampered by a legacy technology stack—more than 20 disparate databases and siloed systems—that produced poor customer data, disjointed onboarding and slow provisioning (up to 48 hours), making new product launches take months instead of days.
Informa implemented CloudSense’s Salesforce‑native platform alongside Salesforce Sales Cloud and Identity to provide CPQ, order and subscription management, entitlements and self‑service on a single data model. The result is a 360° customer view, instant provisioning and the ability to launch and provision new products within a week, personalized cross‑channel experiences and self‑service, rising sales from better cross‑sell/upsell, and planned legacy decommissioning savings of about £400k per year.
