Hawaiian Telcom transforms B2B sales and order management with CloudSense

Hawaiian Telcom, Hawai‘i’s technology leader, provides integrated communications, broadband and data center services across the islands. In 2016 the company set out to streamline its B2B sales and order management by finding a single, Salesforce‑native platform to digitize and automate processes, give sales teams a 360° view of customers, and speed product and bundle launches.

By implementing the CloudSense platform on top of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Hawaiian Telcom added CPQ, unified product catalog and pricing management, and fully automated order management, linking product, sales and order entry functions for better visibility. The change produced measurable gains: a 73% reduction in lead‑to‑order time, a 52% reduction in order processing time and a 31% increase in billing accuracy, while creating a flexible foundation for future capabilities like customer self‑service.
