Aware, an AI governance and compliance company, needed to accelerate its machine learning innovation. Its data scientists were spending approximately 80% of their time managing infrastructure instead of developing models, with image pre-processing alone causing hours of idle time. To eliminate this friction, Aware partnered with Cloudreach to build a machine learning pipeline on AWS.

Cloudreach implemented a solution using Amazon SageMaker, AWS Batch, and other AWS services. This fully-managed infrastructure automated the training, testing, and deployment of models, dramatically reducing preprocessing time from over three hours to under five minutes for 100,000 images. As a result, Aware’s data scientists migrated to the new platform in under six weeks and were able to focus on innovation, deploying more sophisticated ML pipelines to solve complex business needs.
