Cloudreach Develops Serverless Concept That Will Help Betf Red Deliver Content to Its Growing Customer Base in an Agile and Scalable Way

Betfred, a major UK bookmaker, faced challenges with scalability and agility for its online gaming platform. Its on-premise infrastructure struggled with fluctuating traffic, and its microservice architecture had become slow and cumbersome, hindering innovation. Cloudreach was engaged to help develop a solution.

Cloudreach built a Proof of Concept for a serverless architecture on AWS using API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB. This new approach reduced the codebase from 120k to 15k lines of code. The Cloudreach solution provided a scalable, cost-effective system that will reduce latency and complexity, enabling Betfred's engineers to confidently bring it to market and roll out the technology to other games.
