Vancouver International Airport Improves Permit Visibility with Cloudpermit

Vancouver International Airport, through the Vancouver Airport Authority’s Engineering Services Department, needed a better way to manage development and facility permits. Before Cloudpermit, staff relied on PDFs and a document management system, leaving external applicants and consultants with little visibility into permit status or project progress.

Cloudpermit implemented a cloud-based permitting solution that gave the airport a central place to manage files, standardize submissions, track version history, and share real-time status updates with stakeholders. As a result, Vancouver International Airport saw greater transparency, smoother collaboration, fewer phone calls and emails about permit status, and a stronger understanding of the permitting process for third-party tenants and consultants.
