Middlesex Centre, a municipality in Ontario, needed a more efficient way to manage building permits amid rapid housing growth and increasing demand on staff. With Cloudpermit, Middlesex Centre digitized permit applications, reviews, inspections, and shared services across multiple municipalities. The results were significant: the municipality saved over 15,000 sheets of paper annually, eliminated 1,400 office visits, cut application administration time in half, and saw new dwellings rise by 125.7 percent, total permits by 53.3 percent, and permit value by 52.5 percent over two years.
