Case Study: Middlesex Centre achieves paperless, faster permit processing with Cloudpermit

Middlesex and Lucan Biddulph adopt new e-permitting software

Middlesex Centre (and neighbouring Lucan Biddulph) faced slow, paper‑based permitting and inspection processes that required staff to scan, mail or travel to share and store documents. To modernize their building department they selected Cloudpermit’s Evolve e‑permitting and mobile inspections cloud platform.

Cloudpermit implemented Evolve to deliver an end‑to‑end, paper‑free permitting workflow and tablet inspections, with Middlesex Centre helping roll the system out to Lucan Biddulph. Since implementation the department has processed over 150 permits (since August 2019), reported significant time savings and elimination of manual processes for applicants, builders and staff, and achieved greater transparency and efficiency.
