Nando's Pay flexibility to attract and retain talent

Nando’s Singapore, part of the multinational Nando’s fast-food chain, faced a tight recruitment and retention market and the need to offer pay flexibility while complying with Singapore’s monthly payslip rules. To meet these goals and enhance its employee value proposition, Nando’s Singapore selected CloudPay’s pay-on-demand solution, CloudPay NOW, to address competitive hiring pressures, reduce reliance on payroll advances for festivals, and give frontline staff faster access to earned wages.

CloudPay implemented CloudPay NOW so employees keep their monthly payslips and payroll processes unchanged while accessing earned pay via the CloudPay NOW app (including financial education content and communications support). CloudPay NOW is being rolled out to ~150 employees in Singapore, enabling next-day access to wages, removing end-of-month waiting, and supporting a business case that anticipates reduced recruitment and retention costs (agencies, advertising, referral bonuses) and a stronger employer brand.
