Avis Budget Group, a global vehicle rental company operating in more than 180 countries, needed to streamline and standardize its international payroll operations. With multiple systems, inconsistent reporting across regions, and heavy manual effort tied to payroll processing, the company sought a more connected, scalable approach. It partnered with CloudPay and integrated its payroll operations with Workday to improve automation and visibility.

CloudPay implemented a real-time Workday integration, standardized validation processes, centralized reporting, and managed payroll services across 18 international countries, including integrated payments for seven. The results included approximately 60% time savings across payroll and payroll/HR activities, 40–50% typical data point error reduction since 2023, and the creation of efficient regional payroll hubs. Since 2021, CloudPay has delivered 1,182 payroll runs and 254,403 payslips for Avis Budget Group.
