Large Modern Investigative Technology Service Provider needed to analyze and cross-reference mobile messages from a victim device with cell site location information (CSLI) from two suspect devices to determine who was engaged in communications and where each suspect was located in relation to a crime scene. They worked with CloudNine, using its platform and Actor Matching Technology to ingest SMS/MMS, call records, and cell tower data for correlated analysis.

CloudNine loaded the message and CSLI data into its platform and used Actor Matching Technology to map messages to participants, link calls and texts to cell tower geolocations, and build timelines for each actor. The solution quickly revealed patterns of activity on the night of the incident, correlated suspects’ locations with the victim, and produced a clear, consolidated evidentiary timeline that helped investigators present the case.
