USA.NET, a large US-based ISP and messaging provider with more than 1 million end-user mailboxes, needed to strengthen its existing email security as spam, phishing, and virus attacks continued to evolve. To improve protection for its business customers, USA.NET evaluated Cloudmark and its messaging defense offerings, including Cloudmark Authority® and Cloudmark Sender Intelligence.

Cloudmark implemented Cloudmark Authority® to integrate with USA.NET’s Linux-based messaging infrastructure and add anti-spam, anti-virus, and anti-phishing protection with zero latency. The results were strong: USA.NET reported that Cloudmark blocked an additional 40,000 spam messages in one test compared with 7,000 caught by the previous system, while also avoiding any increase in back-end mail servers.
