Kempinski Hotels saves hundreds of thousands in licence fees with CloudM

Kempinski Hotels, a luxury hotel management group, faced a significant financial challenge when Google replaced its free archival licenses with a paid model, which threatened to cost them hundreds of thousands of euros annually in new license fees. The long-time customer turned to their vendor, CloudM, and its Archive solution to address this issue.

CloudM implemented a managed migration using CloudM Migrate to automatically transfer Kempinski's archived user data to a more cost-effective cloud storage. This process drastically reduced their expected expenditure. Furthermore, CloudM integrated archiving directly into Kempinski's automated offboarding policy, ensuring future leavers' data is handled securely and compliantly without incurring additional license fees.
