United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Selects CloudLock to Secure and Monitor Google Docs

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM), a 700-employee national institution dedicated to documenting and teaching Holocaust history, migrated to Google Apps and needed a way to secure and monitor Google Docs. Their challenge was to ensure ongoing visibility into sharing patterns and sensitive-data exposures while also supporting deployment and change management during early adoption.

USHMM included CloudLock from the project outset; CloudLock’s consolidated dashboard, automated alerts, access-management tools and policy engine gave administrators immediate visibility into who was creating and sharing documents and where exposures occurred. The result was faster, more targeted training and follow-up, improved change-management insight during rollout, and the ability to monitor and remediate newly created exposures as they appeared.
