Pandora, the internet radio company that uses Google Apps and Salesforce to support a highly mobile workforce, needed to protect its intellectual property and customer PII while still enabling collaboration via Google Drive. IT was tasked with ensuring external sharing complied with acceptable-use policies and preventing data loss from inadvertent exposures.

Pandora implemented CloudLock to discover cloud apps and Google Drive content, apply content, context, and sharing policies, run PII pattern scans, and provide automated alerts and remediation. The deployment delivered greater visibility and detective controls for identifying and correcting PII exposures, faster remediation of incorrect sharing, and continuous monitoring and auditing to help prevent future data leakage and protect critical IP.
