Global Biomedical Foundation (GBF) collects, stores and distributes rare, well-annotated biospecimens for clinical research but faced two critical challenges: driving compliance with CDC standards to support accreditation and audits, and replacing slow, error-prone spreadsheet reporting that caused long turnaround times. To address these needs, GBF selected CloudLIMS’s SaaS sample management solution.

CloudLIMS enabled GBF’s distributed network to enter data in real time into a central system, providing role-based security, field-level masking of patient/donor data, and built-in traceability with an audit trail.
