Levi’s Gives Cloudinary a Spin for Virtual Showroom

Levi’s Footwear & Accessories faced a sudden sales-disruption when COVID-19 travel and budget constraints prevented wholesalers from visiting physical showrooms. The division needed an engaging, B2B virtual showroom that could handle continuous updates (about 40,000 new images per season), deliver fast, detailed visual product experiences, and integrate with existing e‑commerce and CRM systems.

Working with Geos Consult’s G-image platform and Cloudinary (with Azure storage), Levi’s implemented automated image and video processing, dynamic transcoding, responsive delivery, and 360-degree product spinners. The result was faster page loads, effortless scaling for seasonal spikes, and rapid rollout of new visual features—enabling wholesalers to virtually inspect and purchase collections and reducing 360° spinner activation to about one hour.
