Systemec, a managed service provider in the Netherlands, faced a challenge with rapidly growing customer data volumes that threatened to overwhelm its backup windows. Seeking a more scalable and flexible backup foundation, the company turned to vendor Cloudian for a solution.

The solution implemented was approximately 100 TB of Cloudian HyperStore object storage distributed across three data centers, combined with Cloudian's HyperFile for file connectivity. This gave Systemec a limitlessly scalable storage foundation that eliminated backup window concerns, integrated easily into their existing environment, and provided full S3 compatibility to enable future cloud-native services for customers.
