Felix Schoeller Group adds 255 TB of scalable backup storage with Cloudian

The Felix Schoeller Group, a leading German specialty paper manufacturer, faced soaring data protection costs and performance issues due to 60 TB of monthly data growth. Cloudian implemented its HyperStore private cloud storage, including HyperStore appliances and HyperStore File services. This on-premises object storage solution provided a scalable, high-performance backup target using lower-cost hardware. The results included significant cost savings, high availability through triple mirroring, and unlimited scalability, all while maintaining data sovereignty within their own data center.
