Australian VMware Cloud Provider Builds Business on Cloudian Object Storage Platform

AUCloud, an Australian sovereign cloud IaaS provider serving government and Critical National Industry customers, needed a highly scalable, S3-compatible storage platform that could integrate seamlessly with its VMware environment and support growing capacity demands. To meet these requirements, AUCloud selected Cloudian’s HyperStore object storage solution.

Cloudian implemented HyperStore integrated with VMware Cloud Director as the foundation for AUCloud’s S3-based services. The result was a scalable object storage platform that fit smoothly into AUCloud’s VMware environment, supported S3 application workloads, and enabled the company to launch new S3-based service offerings.
