AUCloud deploys 1.4 PB of S3 storage with Cloudian

AUCloud, an Australian sovereign cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service provider, needed a highly scalable, S3-compatible storage platform to integrate into its VMware environment. This was essential to meet growing customer capacity demands and support cloud-native, S3-based applications. Following an evaluation, they selected the Cloudian HyperStore object storage solution.

Cloudian provided a fully native, S3-compatible object storage platform purpose-built for VMware and manageable via VMware Cloud Director. The solution offered FIPS-2 certified security, limitless scalability, and multi-tenant features. As a result, AUCloud deployed 1.4 petabytes to launch new S3-based Storage-as-a-Service and Backup-as-a-Service offerings, enabling them to compete effectively and meet strong pre-launch customer demand.
