North Karelia has saved hundreds of thousands of euros with the online auction

The North Karelia Procurement Office, which procures goods and services for a group of 14 municipalities and 11 parishes in Finland, was a pioneer in digital procurement but sought a more effective tool to generate competition and achieve significant cost savings. They turned to the services provided by Cloudia to implement a fully online competitive bidding process.

By utilizing Cloudia's online auction service, the customer achieved substantial financial savings across multiple procurements. The results for Cloudia included a savings of approximately €580,000 on office multifunction devices, around €310,000 on server and storage devices, and approximately €258,000 on incontinence products, with specific bidding process costs reduced by up to 50%.
