FestiVote, an audience engagement app founded by Philippe and Anne-Mari Macridis, needed to rapidly build a target list of festival contacts to launch and market their voting and engagement platform. To extract and organize data from thousands of film festivals quickly, FestiVote partnered with CloudFactory and used CloudFactory’s Efficient Managed Workforce to scale data enrichment beyond what their small team could handle.

CloudFactory scraped information from roughly 6,000 festival websites, supplemented it with additional sources, and delivered a robust database of nearly 7,000 film festival profiles in just over two months, increasing FestiVote’s labeling capacity fourfold.
