CloudFabrix worked with a leading healthcare provider that operates four core data centers, 26 hospitals, 500 care facilities, and more than 70,000 employees after a major merger. The customer needed a 7-year plan to consolidate data centers and evaluate what could be moved to cloud, while also dealing with a messy CMDB, unknown servers, and rising security and compliance risks.

CloudFabrix deployed its Asset Intelligence Enterprise solution to perform agentless discovery and map assets, application dependencies, capacity, utilization, and end-of-life status across the environment. The project helped the customer discover and account for 100% of IT assets, complete rationalization in three months instead of a year, and move toward CMDB harmonization as a single source of truth. CloudFabrix also uncovered more than 1PB of unused or unknown storage, 100+ unknown unpatched bare metal servers, 200+ apps with unknown passwords, and many abandoned or hidden assets still in use.
