Telekom Data Intelligence Hub enabling customers to capitalize on data insights

Deutsche Telekom wanted to turn untapped data into new digital services, but needed a secure, compliant way to share, analyze, and harness data while preserving data sovereignty. Working with Cloudera and Ultra Tendency, the company built the Telekom Data Intelligence Hub, a global data marketplace designed to support these goals using the Cloudera enterprise data platform and Cloudera Data Science Workbench.

Cloudera helped Deutsche Telekom create a scalable, secure foundation for exchanging and processing data, meeting IDSA, GDPR, and high-security requirements. The result was a platform that gives data owners more control, enables limited-time access to specific use cases, and also lets Deutsche Telekom reuse the technology internally across its European subsidiaries to analyze its own data and support future AI and machine learning services.
