PhonePe selects Cloudera for Flexible Hybrid Data Management

PhonePe, India’s largest payments app, was struggling to manage the scale of its data cluster on a monolithic infrastructure as it rapidly grew. To address this challenge, PhonePe selected Cloudera and the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) to support a move toward a more flexible hybrid data environment.

Cloudera implemented CDP to let PhonePe shift some workloads to the cloud while keeping others on-premise, with built-in security, observability, and workload visibility through Shared Data Experience (SDX). The result was greater scalability, agility, flexibility, and reliability, along with improved operational efficiency, lower overhead, and a smoother path to continued innovation and better customer experience.
