Magnify Analytic Solutions, a division of Marketing Associates in Detroit, delivers analytics, BI, credit risk and marketing services to Fortune-100 clients. It was struggling to handle massive, short-lived web-event spikes from B2C campaigns and a growing, multi‑structured CRM data set that outgrew a rigid relational database approach—creating performance, scalability and cost challenges.

Magnify built an enterprise data hub on Cloudera’s Hadoop platform (using Flume, Sqoop, Hive, Impala and Cloudera Manager) to provide elastic scalability, faster queries and self-serve data discovery. The new EDH cut costs below relational licensing, sped time-to-value, supported 20TB+ of historical data with strong security, and lets clients run ad-hoc queries and dealers self-serve insights—improving performance, reducing replication and simplifying administration.
