AM-BITS, based in Ukraine, needed a faster and more secure way to help businesses in banking, telecoms, retail, and manufacturing migrate data to the cloud amid wartime disruption and changing regulations. Traditional cloud migrations could take six months or more, while many clients also needed strong data security, compliance, and continuity for critical services. AM-BITS addressed this by building its own modern data platform powered by Cloudera.

Using Cloudera’s cloud capabilities and Shared Data Experience (SDX), AM-BITS created a multi-tenant platform that securely consolidated data, enforced governance, and improved cost efficiency. The result was a much shorter migration timeline: customers were able to move data into production in just a few months, and early adopters in telecoms and banking processed more than 200 TB of data per day within months of launch. Cloudera also helped AM-BITS give clients flexibility across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, reducing vendor lock-in and supporting future analytics and machine learning.
