SMN Corporation, a Japan-based marketing technology company, was facing rapid data growth from rising digital advertising activity and increasingly complex AI/ML workloads. To keep up, SMN needed a scalable platform to store, process, aggregate, and analyze massive volumes of ad and marketing data for its tools, including VALIS-Engine, Logicad, and VALIS-Cockpit, and it turned to Cloudera for support.
Cloudera provided SMN with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), giving the company a flexible hybrid data foundation that could scale with business growth and work across different IT environments. With Cloudera, SMN now processes about 700 billion transactions per month, up from 100 billion a decade ago, and can deliver more than 200 types of reports to clients, enabling better campaign decisions and improved marketing outcomes such as higher click-through rates and impressions.
