Art.com Builds Enterprise Data Hub with Cloudera for Operational Analytics and Machine Learning

Art.com, the world’s leading online retailer of wall art with 17 million customers across 120 countries and multiple brands, faced a fragmented data environment that limited its ability to understand customer behavior and deliver timely, personalized recommendations. Siloed warehouses and capacity constraints made it difficult to process mixed data types (clickstream, logs, images) or run real-time and batch analytics at low latency, preventing closed‑loop marketing and machine‑learning initiatives.

Art.com built an enterprise data hub on Cloudera Enterprise (Hadoop) to centralize multi‑structured data and support batch, SQL, search, and streaming workloads.
