Implementing a COVID secure desk and room booking system for health service organization

NHS BNSSG CCG, the clinical commissioning group serving Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire, needed a COVID‑secure way to manage its office and support a safe return to work across a 338‑desk site. As their approved supplier, Cloudbooking was engaged to deliver a digital workspace management solution — principally a desk and room booking system — with custom SSO configurations and SCIM user provisioning to integrate with nhs.net and enable mobile and portal access.

Cloudbooking implemented desk and room management, QR code booking, analytics and data insights, plus SSO/SCIM integrations and automated user provisioning. The deployment delivered a COVID‑safe booking system, improved visibility and control of workplace traffic, increased workspace utilization data to inform future design, and optimized space use — enabling safer working for staff and patients and smoother day‑to‑day operations.
