Delivering a Hybrid Workplace & Return-to-Work Plan with Cloudbooking Technologies

Registers of Scotland (RoS), a Scottish government body responsible for public land and legal registers, needed a COVID-secure way to bring employees back to the office while also supporting a longer-term hybrid workplace model. Cloudbooking provided the workspace management technology, including desk booking, car park management, and visitor management, to help RoS move from a mostly office-based setup to a flexible, safer working environment.

Cloudbooking implemented desk booking across 5 floors with 180 desks, car park management for 135 spaces plus 4 electric and 5 disabled spaces, and a visitor management system with health attestation; all were integrated with Azure SSO and SCIM for easy access. The result was a more secure return-to-work process, better use of office space, and real-time data to support future workplace planning, with 75% of employees saying they preferred a hybrid working model.
