Rail Delivery Group (RDG) needed a reliable desk booking system to improve office space utilization and support a safe return to the workplace during COVID-19. Their previous workspace scheduling tool was inconsistent, hard to use, and had low adoption, while integration with Microsoft 365 was a key requirement. Cloudbooking provided its desk management platform to meet these needs across RDG’s 3 sites and 286 desks.
Cloudbooking deployed the solution from brief to go-live in just five weeks, adding desk management with QR code booking, portal and mobile SSO, analytics, and Microsoft 365 integration. The new system improved reliability and user uptake, helped RDG better utilize office space, and supported a COVID-secure workplace. Cloudbooking also set the foundation for broader workspace management, with meeting room and visitor management planned next.
